                                                                     BUT GOD

EXODUS 14:1-4

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Tell the Israelites to turn back and encamp near Pi Hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea. They are to encamp by the sea, directly opposite Baal Zephon. Pharaoh will think, ‘The Israelites are wandering around the land in confusion, hemmed in by the desert.’ And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and he will pursue them. But I will gain glory for myself through Pharaoh and all his army, and the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord.” So the Israelites did this.  NIV

EXODUS 14:13-14

13 Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. 14 The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”  NIV

2 CHRONICLES 20:15-17

15 He said: “Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s. 16 Tomorrow march down against them. They will be climbing up by the Pass of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the gorge in the Desert of Jeruel. 17 You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.’” NIV

2 Chronicles 7:14

14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.  NIV

2 Samuel 22:1

22 David sang to the Lord the words of this song when the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul.  NIV

It seems to me that in every area of our lives and what we see unfolding in our country and all over the world, it is very easy to get discouraged and become afraid and lose all hope----BUT GOD-----sent His only begotten Son to save us.  JOHN 3:16 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  NIV

God knows what is going on in our lives.  He also is very aware of what is going on in the world.  He will not forsake us or abandon us.  In every situation that we face, God has the answer and He can deliver us from any enemy, disease or hardship that we are going through so whenever you think that all hope is lost just remember-------BUT GOD!
