“Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made.  He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”  The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it , or you will die.’”  “You will certainly not die,” the serpent said to the woman.  “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”  Genesis 3:1-5 NIV

Not only is deception saying something that is not true but doing it for personal gain.  That sounds very familiar now in the area of our culture and politics.  Just like the serpent in the Garden of Eden, deception is packaged in “feel good, emotional rhetoric” that entices the masses to accept lies as truth because the media has become the authority and many accept it as truth because they are blinded by their own ideology or are afraid to speak out.

How can we keep from being deceived?  I believe that we need to seek the truth.  Just because someone says something does not mean that it is true.  Just turn on the “fake news.”  People that deceive others have an agenda.  It appears that power and money are the two high ranking motives that fuel people’s hearts to deceive others.  The problem with deception is that it causes an avalanche of more lies and more deceit until only those blinded by their own deceit will find it very hard to accept the truth.  Also, deception includes what is not said.

When bank tellers are being taught how to detect counterfeit money, they are taught how to recognize the authentic money.  We need to recognize the authenticity of what we see and hear and read.  We need to search for truth.

Jesus very plainly states that one of the biggest signs will be deception in the Last Days before His Second Coming. (Matthew 24:3-4)  We are living in a world where there is deception on steroids!!  Our spiritual eyes need to be opened so that we can discern what is true and what is not.  With our modern technology it is much easier to deceive than in times past.  Also, our technology can change the outcome to suit its purpose or personal agenda.

The Nazis used propaganda to hide political goals and deceive the German and International public.  They led everyone to believe that Germany was a victim of Allied and Jewish aggression so they could hide their true ideological goals and to justify violence against the innocent civilians. During the Nazi Regime, Jews from all parts of German-occupied territories were taken on trains to concentration camps.  This was referred to as “resettlement to the east” by the Nazi regime.  “The victims—including women and children—would be told that they were being hauled to labor camps.  In reality, these were death camps where the largest known genocide in modern human history would unfold.”  (Death trains.: How Jews were deported to Auschwitz, the most infamous Nazi concentration camp TIMES NOW NEWS.COM updated January 28, 2020)

How does this apply to our lives now?  We need to take a stand for the truth in whatever form that it takes.  And we need to seek truth and have discernment so we are not deceived concerning anything we see, read, hear or experience.

Truth is the only antidote that will expose the hidden agenda of evil and stop it in its tracks!

The following are words that I believe I received from the Lord on July 23, 2021:

“The world is topsy-turvy.  What is wrong is right.  What is right is wrong.  I will right the world of all its corruption.  I will right the world of all of its lies and deception.  I will right the earth on its axis to a point of no return.  For the coming events will take a turn to the right.  Do the right thing and righteousness shall be glorified on the earth!”

Deceive---(of a person) cause (someone) to believe something that is not true, typically in order to gain some personal advantage: "I didn't intend to deceive people into thinking it was French champagne" (Oxford Dictionaries)

We all know what deceive means but the reason I have articulated the meaning is to emphasize the part that says, “to gain some personal advantage.”  So deceit is not only saying something that is not true but doing it for personal gain.  That sounds very familiar now in the area of our culture and politics.

Satan not only deceived himself into thinking that he could be greater than God but he also deceived Adam and Eve into thinking that they could be like God.  I believe he tricked them into thinking that they would be gods themselves.  He was really stealing their identity.

 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”   Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you.  For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. Matthew 24:3-5 (NIV)

At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it.  For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.  See, I have told you ahead of time.  Matthew 24:23-25 (NIV)

Satan has his agenda and he works through people.  He is the “father of lies.” Jesus rebuked those that were accusing Him of not being of God and Jesus said that they were the ones who were of the devil.

 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me.  Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say.  You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.  Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me!  Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don’t you believe me?  Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.”  John 8:42-47 (NIV)

How does this apply to our lives now?  We need to take a stand for the truth, in whatever form that takes.  And we need to seek truth and have discernment so we are not deceived concerning anything we see, read, hear or experience.  Remember that the evil one always appears as an “angel of light”!

 

THE BLOOD OF JESUS

• It gives life to those who consume it (John 6:53).
• It causes us to dwell in Christ and Him in us (John 6:56).
• It is the means by which Jesus purchased the church (Acts 20:28).
• It is the means by which Jesus becomes our atonement through faith (Rom. 3:25).
• It justifies us and saves us from God’s wrath (Rom. 5:9).
• It redeems us (Eph. 1:7; 1 Pet. 1:18–19; Rev. 5:9).
• It brings those who were far away from God near to Him (Eph. 2:13).
• It grants us the forgiveness of sins (Col. 1:14).
• It brings peace and reconciliation with God (Col. 1:20).
• It has “obtained eternal redemption” for us (Heb. 9:12).
• It cleanses our consciences from “dead works” to serve the living God (Heb. 9:14).
• It is the means by which we enter the Most Holy Place with boldness (Heb. 10:19 NIV).
• It “speaks a better word than the blood of Abel” (Heb. 12:24 NIV).
• It sanctifies us (Heb. 13:12).
• It makes us complete for “every good work” (Heb. 13:20–21 NKJV).
• It “cleanses us from all sin” (1 John 1:7).
• It bears witness in the earth along with the Spirit and the water (1 John 5:8 KJV).
• It is the means by which Jesus washes us (Rev. 1:5; 7:14 KJV).
• It is the means by which we overcome the accuser of the brethren (Rev. 12:10–11).

Thank God for the “precious blood” of Christ (1 Pet. 1:19), the “sprinkled blood” of Christ (Heb. 12:24), the blood of “the new covenant” (Luke 22:20), the “blood of the eternal covenant” shed for us (Heb. 13:20).

The blood of Jesus is very powerful. In Buenos Aires in 1996, a consecrated host was found on the ground and then placed in water to dissolve.  Days later it was still there and had turned into bloody flesh.

My husband Marty and I have experienced a manifestation of this years ago when we received the Eucharist in the form of the body (Host) and the Blood (consecrated wine) in the Chalice.  We were at a Mission Church around 15 miles from the southern Border town of Douglas, Arizona.

When I looked down to receive the consecrated wine, I noticed that it looked like blood and the water, that the Priest adds to the wine, did not mingle with the blood.  My husband noticed the same thing without me talking to him about it.  Was it blood?  We don’t know but we have never experienced this before.  Whether or not it was or was not blood, I believe in the true Presence of the Body and Blood of Jesus in the Eucharist!

But when [the soldiers] came to Jesus and saw that he was already dead, they did not break his legs, but one soldier thrust his lance into his side, and immediately blood and water flowed out. ~John 19:33-34

“In this regard, a retired cardio-thoracic surgeon, Dr. Antony de Bono, feels that there is a simple reason for the outpouring of the “blood and water.”

He writes: Jesus had a haemothorax, which in the stillness of the dead body, had separated out as they do into two layers: the heavier red cells below and the light watery plasma above. PLEADING THE BLOOD OF JESUS OVER THE HEALTH OF YOUR BODY

 Heavenly Father, I come before You in Jesus’ name. Father God, thank You that Your Word says I should prosper and be in health, even as my soul prospers. Thank You that Your Word says I am healed by the stripes of Jesus, and that You sent Your Word, Jesus, and healed my disease.

So Father God, because of the blood Jesus shed on Calvary—that same blood that made a way for me to approach You and receive forgiveness for all of my sins—and because of the terrible, bloody scourging Jesus endured to purchase my healing, I ask right now that You would heal my body. Let Your healing power course through my veins right now, and heal me from the top of my head to the soles of my feet.

Lord Jesus, because You paid the price with Your blood and body for me to be healed right now, please make my body come into alignment with the perfect healing You paid for me to have. Let my brain think right in every area. Let my organs function perfectly. Let my blood be full of the right things and free from the wrong things. Remove every invading germ, virus, bacteria, malfunction, and malignant cell from my body, and restore any damage done to my body by past sicknesses.

Thank You, Father. Thank You that these things are done for me by the blood of Jesus. I receive Your healing right now, and I give You all the praise. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Our Heavenly Father is merciful and gracious. He is also a fair, just, and righteous Judge. And when we present our “case” before His throne of grace in prayer, we can insist that He carry out His will for us based on the legal evidence of Jesus’ blood.

The price for Father’s will to be done was completely paid on the cross. The blood of Jesus is all-sufficient. And when we present that blood to our Father in faith, He will move Heaven and earth to bring Jesus the reward of His suffering in our lives. (Jamie Rohrbaugh February 23, 2017)

“I will rebuke the devourer (devil) for your sake.  Though evil come upon the land, behold I Am inflicting wounds on the enemy.  Beware of the enemy’s tactics for I have seen and I know the beginning from the end.  Soar with Me as an eagle flies high above the storms of life.  I AM THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA.  Soar with Me above the storm.  Do not let the enemy scare or frighten you for I come on the wings of a dove, a dove of the Holy Spirit with healing in My wings; a salve to purify, heal and deliver My people.  So look up, be prepared, for I AM coming in the twinkling of an eye.”

“As surely as there is deception, there is truth.  As surely as there is darkness, there is light.  As surely as there is night, there is day.  As surely as there is evil, there is goodness.  As surely as there is war, there is peace.  As surely as there is weakness, there is might.  As surely as there is doubt, there is faith.  As surely as there is hunger, there is fullness.  As surely as there is death, there is life.  Seek life and peace and faith.  Seek God Who is the light in the darkness; the peace in the storm; the Alpha and the Omega; the Prince of Peace and the Lord of Lords!!  Choose life in My Son Jesus Christ!  He is the Truth!”

“Who will speak for Me?  Who will shout the victory?  Who was He Who opened up the Red Sea?  Who will speak for Me?  Who will join My cause?  Who will give Me pause?  Who will applaud the Victory, the Victory, the Victory!” (Note:  I believe that this was in reference to believing the prophets that have said that Donald Trump will have a 2^nd term (not in 2024).  God still speaks through His prophets.  If God has truly told you something then you need to believe it.  So many of the prophets that prophesied in the Old Testament never saw the fulfillment of their prophecies so we need to trust God and what He is saying NOW.)

“We are in a time of reversal.  That which was will be and that which will be was.  The beginning and the end are a full circle.  The circle of My love began when the earth and the moon and the suns and the galaxies were created .  The circle of My love began at an instant of creation.  You say ‘how can it be, the beginning and the end?’  They will kiss and the ring will be a circle, a circle of love for My Bride, the Church.  You are My Beloved.  Enter the circle of My love, My Beloved.  Enter the circle of my love and you will be enveloped with My grace, My joy, My power and My love.  Enter into the circle of My love, My life, My peace, My strength and My joy.  Beloved, enter in.  Enter in.  Enter in.”  (Note: I believe that this refers to Revelation 22:1-5.)

Eden Restored

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb ² down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. ³ No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. ⁴ They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. ⁵ There will be no more night. “The harvest is preparation for My great feast, The Feast of Tabernacles.  The feast of joy and comfort.  Come to the table being prepared for the Bride, My Church and the Bridegroom, Jesus Christ.  Come to the feast, the harvest of souls, souls for the Kingdom to partake in the great Marriage Feast of the Lamb, Come feast at the Table of the Lord, the Savior, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords---come.  So go into the fields for the gathering of the saints, the wheat, the harvest for the great Wedding Feast.  Come all who are hungry.  Come all who are weary.  Come all who are thirsty.  Come to the feast, the gathering is here, the gathering is near.  So come all, come all, come all.”

 

 

TRUTH

What is truth?   The answer is in the Word of God. 

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.  John 1:14  (NIV)

For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.  John 1:17  (NIV)

 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.  Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”  John 8:31-32  (NIV)

What is Truth?  God’s Word is truth.  Jesus came as the bearer of truth.   The opposite of truth is a lie.  Lying and deception go hand in hand.  The definition of deceive, according to Webster’s Dictionary, is “To cause to believe what is not true: mislead.”  Let’s see didn’t this happen a long time ago in the Garden of Eden when the devil deceived Adam and Eve?

 Jesus was born into the world to put an end to deception and redeem man from sin which is really rejecting truth which is in the person of Jesus Christ Himself. Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”   Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.  If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”  John 14:5-7 NIV

 When Jesus was brought before Pilate, Pilate questioned Jesus about His Kingdom------ Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.” “You are a king, then!” said Pilate. Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.”  Matthew 18:36-37  (NIV)

 Even Pilate himself did not know what truth was because apparently he had never experienced it and it appears he unknowingly experienced truth in the person of Jesus Christ.

In Chapter 24 of Matthew Jesus talked about deception three times.  It seems that deception is one of the biggest signs of the end times.  You need not look any further than the media to recognize this.

We live in a world that is on a collision course to dispel all truth.  Jesus came to destroy the works of the enemy, the devil.  He proclaimed truth wherever He went.  If you really seek the truth you will find it.  Don’t be pressured by the “cancel culture” out there that wants to force people to act and think like them.  Where there is truth there is freedom.  Freedom to be who God created you to be.  He is the Master Designer.  He wrote the “manual” for His creation.  Don’t forget the acronym B.I.B.L.E. -----“Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth.”
